If you are familiar with Leviathan then you will also know Lurker of Chalice, one of the many projects by visual artist and multi-instrumentalist Jef Whitehead, also known as Wrest.
This self-titled album was originally released in 2005 after the releases of two previous demos, one of our all time USBM favourites. The good news is that NWN! Productions has released early in the year a new edition, a double LP which include a bonus track featured on a previous vinyl edition.
Lurker of Chalice is a stirring Black Metal Ambient masterpiece with a strong oppressive and reverberated visceral feel. This album will genuinely transport you to entrancing lands of profound bleak despair. A very unique rare gem!
